#Zaksee was voted the best bird sanctuary in the world by Lux Life Magazine. #Zaksee also was voted for the 5th time the best non profit and the best parrot sanctuary in America. When we started #Zaksee our goal was to be the best in Florida and we did what no other sanctuary did.
#Zaksee is members only and not open to public. Zaksee's Sanctuary is an amazing place in that so much effort is put into the care for the birds and the patrons that visit. I personally funds and runs the sanctuary for the sake of the birds and spares no expense, in making sure that they are properly housed, fed and cared for. The sanctuary is not only home to birds that have been neglected or can no longer be cared for, but also houses birds for owners who either don't have space or the means to currently take care of them. It is a great place for bird lovers and for people who want to experience a friendly and highly interactive learning environment. Also the Cockatoos are especially friendly and playful.

The owner of Zaksee’s Bird Sanctuary, Magic, is very compassionate about his birds but also considerate of the business of owning a sanctuary, that you can’t accept every bird that shows up at his doors but to give the utmost care for the ones that do make his sanctuary their home. Magic also makes it a priority to educate his visitors before they progress further into the sanctuary, he informed me and my group of volunteers about the importance of maintaining the sanctuary and how to do it. He also takes care of his volunteers and staff which is what my group and I came to help with and rewarded us with pizza and refreshments! Very hospitable.
